Topshop, Velvet Skater Dress, £20 (IN STORE)
Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas, and received all you've wished for, and ate til you couldn't move!
Just to clear this up before you begin to wonder, on the website it says this dress is £36, but in store it's actually £20, maybe the site just hasn't updated itself? If it's still saying £36 on the site in a couple of days, I might change the picture, in case it seems misleading. But it's definitely £20 in store!!
I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it, I decided it would be my New Years Eve dress, and said I'd buy it with my Christmas money. But instead of money, I got vouchers (WHICH i'm incredibly grateful for!!!) for other shops. I didn't really want to spend £36 on a dress, when I had a voucher I could spend somewhere else, so I was a bit upset, as my dream was over. But my boyfriend said he would get me it as an early birthday present (my birthday is January 3rd in case you were wondering) which was very kind of him! I just love the detail, the print is gorgeous, and I love that it's got a skater skirt, as it makes it seem more girly. The fact that it's from Topshop too, will normally mean its quite good quality, so i'm hoping this will last me a while!
I plan to style this with a pair on black wedges, and thick black tights. So i'm very excited to get this, and wear it, I just hope I like it on myself now!
I was thinking about doing a little 'What I got for Christmas' blog, as I notice a lot of people have done them, and I always love reading them, would anyone be interested in that?
