In all honesty I'm a little bit obsessed with pinafores, one pinafore just isn't really enough, in my opinion. This pinafores been a bit of a staple for me this summer, mostly because I hate dressing for summer, so wearing this helps me kinda look cute and like i'm actually enjoying the weather. (i'm not) I got it in Topshop for £18 in the sale, which you can probably tell I was pretty impressed with.
Also just wanted to add that I'm super excited for Autumn and Christmas, I've been over Summer since June, sorry I'm just one of those people.

I'm gonna be honest and say when culottes started surfacing last year, I hated them, I thought they were gross and weird. It wasn't until my boyfriend (my boyfriend is literally my style advisor) kept going on about how nice he thought I'd look in them, that I considered trying them.. And I'm so glad he did, cause these are the comfiest things ever, they're amazing for summer and they still look stylish. I now honestly want so many different types and colours, I'm a culottes addict.

I feel like my Primark boots could run a blog of their own, accidentally they've been in all my 2016 outfit posts. (not like there's been a lot, but ya know) Last week I was killing some time waiting for a friend, so decided to have a look around H&M and this red striped top caught my eye immediately, it's very unlike me, mostly because it's a colour, but I actually came to like it on myself, never thought I'd like the colour red on me.
As I had found this winner of a top, I decided it would make sense to buy a new skirt to go with it, and voila, that's where this distressed denim skirt comes in. I just think they both compliment each other really well, and the outfit came to £35 which isn't too shabby if you ask me.

I was sooo cold and it was so windy in that last picture, so I chose to do a duck face to cope with it..
I'd been thinking about getting mom jeans for so long, after my boyfriend kept telling me to try them, but I thought they would look vile. I found this pair in the last chance to buy section in Topshop and knew they were the ones, they're so comfy and it's a nice change from wearing skinny jeans all. the. time. Try mom jeans if you haven't, you never know, you might actually like them!

So much love for this jumper right now, its so soft and I love the ombre effect, I very rarely wear anything white, so to have a piece like this is kinda refreshing in my collection. I bought the scarf when I went to Amsterdam last week with my boyfy, it was incredibly cold there, I was not ready for it, so I bought this scarf in a bid to keep me toasty and it did the job, it's pretty much the scarf that I reach for everyday now. (Btw, Amsterdam was beautiful and I highly recommended visiting there)

Getting these shorts was just pure luck, I searched 'blue scalloped shorts' and found these in the sale on Boohoo for less than £10, it was meant to be. I love the colour of them, and that they elongate my legs, I'm just overly impressed with them!
And my goodness, this bag, it's just so beautiful, it can be worn as either a back pack or a shoulder bag, but it just looks so elegant, I love how minimal it is.

I'm gonna just ignore the fact that I've been very absent from my blog these past few months...
Look. I'm wearing colourful(ish) stuff. I wear this kimono as uniform for work, but have actually come to like it as part of my wardrobe, especially with a plain outfit like this, it really works well with it. I love all the 'cold shoulder' tops that are around at the moment, they're airy pretty for when it gets a bit warmer!

I don't even know what the deal is with my hands in the first two pictures, all it does it makes me look creepy. (Awkward hands) This outfit is a bit different for me, because the top is slightly fitted, (shock horror) if you go through my previous outfit posts, you'll notice I have a theme of wearing looser fitting things on top, and that's just the way I like things, but I had been looking at tops like these for a while, and thought I may as well just try one, I did size up to a 12, because I knew I would be really uncomfortable in a 8 or 10, so a 12 still gives me a little air, but still has that fitted kind of look. I really like it and want to get a black one as well now!

Hi. This is weird, doing blogging again, I won't bore you with why I was gone, but it was a much needed break, I've had a few changes happen in my life, and taking a step back from blogging has helped me adjust. But now I feel comfortable with how my life is, I feel like I can focus on my blog again.

ANYWAYS, onto the outfit- This dress is so easy to wear, it's a light fabric, so will be perfect for Spring, and looks great as a cute outfit in the day, or can be dressed up for a night out. I think I slipped up with the sizing a little, I got a 12 so it wouldn't be a tight fit, but I think I could have got away with a 10 instead, but it doesn't bother me too much, so I'll just stick with the 12. THESE SHOES. Can we just take a minute to appreciate them. They are super adorable, I knew I was getting them as soon as I saw them, they also did them in a pale blue colour, but my friend reminded me that they probably wouldn't go with any of my dull black clothes.. But now that I think about it, they would be a nice bit of colour to my boring black outfits.. Maybe I'll get them next time.

This cardigan was a bargain, I had been looking for a cardigan like this for a few weeks, and stumbled across it in H&M, it was £19.99 which I wasn't overally keen on at the time, as I was waiting for pay day, but decided to get it, cause knowing my luck it wouldn't be there when pay day comes around. I took it to the til, and it was actually £7.99 in the sale, do not mind if I do, thanks!
I got the dress as a present from a friend in a shop called BS8 in Bristol, can I just say, if you're ever in the neighbourhood, and want to look at some cool clothes and nick nacks, hit BS8 up, it was an awesome shop. This dress is just everything about me atm, smock dress, dark colours & tartan print. It's so easy to wear, it's not huge like my other smock dresses, it's a tad bit fitted than my other ones, so gives a nice shape, These boots were a bargain too, they were originally £59.00 and were reduced to £17.70, had to be done, basically.
Oh also, I have purple hair now, it's my favourite hair colour at the moment♥

I'm going to put it out there, I realise there is nothing pastel in this outfit at all, I just really like the song, so excuse that. To me these pictures seem French, it's probably because of the striped top, but also the background has a French vibe about it. I got the cord dungarees for my birthday, and they are super duper cute! I love that it poofs out a bit at the bottom, and it has two little pockets at the front, for secret treasures. And to be honest, you can never go wrong with knee high socks, especially if your going for a cute look, they'll never fail you!

I'd been obsessing over this dress for months, and decided to purchase it in the black friday sales, cause black friday sales are the bomb. (Not when you have to wait in a vitual que though, not cool.)
It's probably one of comfiest dresses I have and I like that an outfit can be built around it.
You may have noticed my hair is a lot pinker in these photos than the last post, the intensity's fading a bit, so it's become a bit pastelly, but It's pretty!

Also, I now have a new lens for my camera! Which is really exciting, I honestly can't get over how much better the photos look compared to my previous ones, it just picks up details and colours so much better, I got a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens, the only slight issue with this model is there's no auto focus, (which I normally ignore anyways) which can make these sort of photos tricky, because they can easily slip out of focus, but as long as you (or your photographer) has patience, the pictures will turn out beautiful!
