A few weeks ago I was contacted by the people at ScentedCandleShop, and they kindly offered me to try out a few things, which I was very happy to do!Now, the site has soo many things to pick from, it's amazing! They have different brands, and also have all different types of candles, as well as wax tarts. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the site is extremely easy to navigate through.
Honestly as soon as I got on the site, I knew straight away I wanted Yankee Candle, I'd been thinking about updating my candle collection, and getting more fruity scents for Spring and Summer.
The *Orchard Pear one is the one I was most excited about. I don't know if it's new this year, but it's the first time I've ever come across this. It's a very sour and sweet smell, and kind of sickly sweet, but I love those sort of scents. It really fills the room, and I get compliments on it when people come round. I have a feeling this is going to be my Spring and Summer candle!
The next two I got were Wax Tarts. The *Soft Blanket one is one that I like to burn at night time, just because it I find it's a very comforting smell. It's quite a washing powdery smell. I think in a way it reminds me of my mums house, I don't know if my mum used something similar as a perfume.I haven't had much use out of *Wild Passion Fruit yet, just because I only have one oil burner, and it's annoying when it comes to taking out a tart to replace it! But from I have smelt, it's very fresh, and zesty, again a perfect scent for Summer!
So that was my little review about the site, and the candles, if I was to recommend one candle I would say the Orchard Pear one, it's sooo good! Even if you get one of the little wax tarts or votive candle just to try it!
